Hey guys, most of you probably saw this car up for sale a few weeks ago. Well something new has come up and I need to part with it already. I had big plans for this little beast (full suspension, Massive Lee Brakes up front, wheels/tires, etc.) but someone else will have to take my place on this!
This car is super clean inside and out with very little wear, thus the reason I purchased it. The previous owner really went to town with taking care of the car and purchased lots of quality parts such as a brand new Evo II steering wheel, OE floor mats, OE clutch kit, ZHP shift knob with new leather boot, keyless entry, had A/C installed properly, replaced all fluids/filters/gaskets/maintenance items and various other things.
In the short time I've owned it I have replaced the radiator, expansion tank, wipers, changed the oil, fixed an exhaust leak and a few other odds and ends and gave it a thorough detail (I own a detailing business).
As many of you know the `89 325is was a highly desirable year with plastic bumpers, US ellipsoids, no airbag and so on and this is a prime example. The chassis currently has 164k miles and 111k on the engine. The underside is perfectly dry with no drips or leaks, engine pulls nice and strong and averages low 20's mpg with a slightly heavy right foot ;)
Ok so the swap specs:
-`96 S52 converted to OBDI
-E36 M3 ZF 5-speed manual
-E36 M3 steering rack
-3.25 LSD
-540/Euro HFM with 24lb. injectors and Turner chip
-UUC short shift
-Lower temp t-stat with a Spal puller fan
-E30 M3 firewall cover
-E36 M3 driveshaft
-New exhaust (2.5) with new Magnaflow cat
This car is ready to go for anyone however it has not passed smog yet. If you don't live in CA, no big deal but if you do I was going to run the S50 chip/maf/injectors to have it pass which it should be no issue. I also have 4x100 16x8.5 Kosei K1's (very hard to find) arriving tomorrow if you would be interested in purchasing them with the car.
I haven't even had time to take pictures but Nick the previous owner did a good job of representing the vehicle: http://picasaweb.google.com/nschoch/E30S52
Visually the car looks about the same, except I clayed/waxed the exterior, shampooed the interior, clean and conditioned the leather and used some touch up paint for the spots he points out with the exterior.
I'm asking $8250 and you can either PM me or reach me on my cell at (858 ) 405-7455. Serious inquiries only please, last time I sold a swapped car I spent an enormous amount of time dealing with people who wanted tips for a swap and no intent on buying the car! Thanks.
